International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8 March,it is a day when women are recognized for their achievements. It is an occasion for looking back on past struggles and accomplishments, and more importantly, for looking ahead to the untapped potential and opportunities that await future generations of women.
The theme of 2020 is #EachForEqual. This theme doesn’t end on International Women’s Day but will runs year long. 
Equality is not a women's issue, but also the issue of whole humanity. The race is on for the gender-equal environment, a gender-equal home, gender-equality at all fronts. 
On the eve of Women’s Day, i.e on 7th March’20 International Women’ Day was celebrated at Jhansi in which more than 150 persons participated.
 At 10.30 am Jalsaheli rally was organized in which more than 100 jalSahelis participated. The rally started from Elite Crossing and ended at Museum Auditorium. The women actively participated in the rally and chanted various slogans.

The Chief Guest of the meeting was CDO Mr. Nikhil TikaramFunde. He appreciated the Jalsahelis and their work and said, “ TheJalsahelis of Parmarth are famous not only in Bundelkhand , but all over the world”. 

A meeting was organized at Museum Auditorium in which eminent personalities like Ex- Mayor, Head NCC, Bundelkhanduniversity, social activist, government officials participated. 

Before his address, Ex Mayor, Ms. KiranRaju mentioned about the bravery of Jhanis Ki Rani and stated that the women should take inspiration from her.
NCC head Ms. RashmiSengar stated that women should not be afraid of any situation and they should fight for their rights.
During the event 10 Jalsahelis were honoured by the chief guest for their exemplary work.
